4K MATERIALS
When you want the most premium level of materials engineered into the build of your pergola, you go with the 6061 T6 alloy. This is a forged metal through a process called extrusion, which has a maximum yield strength. For its high strength purposes, it is used for the construction of aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, yacht structures, and the chassis for the Audi A8. Now, you know the ultimate level of engineered materials used to build your 4K Pergola.

This brings two important factors to the table:
- Material wall thickness
-
Longest distance between two posts/supports
POSTS
The posts come in either:
-
4” x 4”
-
6” x 6”
-
8” x 8”
The size of the post will be determined according to the size of your pergola. But, you can always mix it up and choose bigger posts to make it look more immense and beefy, even for a smaller size pergola. Remember, the bigger the post, the longer span distance you can have between two posts of up to 33 feet by using the 8” x 8”.
OPTION FOR SLATS / LATTICE
This section comes in different names that essentially mean the same thing. Whether you call it lattice or slats, they all mean the same thing here. Aside from being decorative, they generally serve the main purpose of providing shade. We also have the ability to add lighting to your lattice or slats, which in our opinion, your pergola looks better at night with proper lighting.
OPTION FOR SOLID COVERS
Whether your pergola is freestanding or attached to the house, this option allows your pergola to have a roof that protects from rain and other elements. The roof is composed of a 3” high density foam IRP (Insulated Roof Panel) which holds an “R” rating of 13.95 giving it the same insulating properties as the walls inside of your home. The IRP (Insulated Roof Panel) makes the roof a fantastic choice for those who enjoy hanging out in their backyards in the hot summer.
BEAM RAFTERS
-
2” x 4”
-
2” x 6”
-
2” x 8”
-
2”X10”
Similar to the pergola posts, the bigger the beam, the longer the span distance between two posts of up to 33 feet! Yes, this is the longest span distance in the industry. Beams are the long structural pieces that run both parallel and perpendicular used as the supporting framework of your patio or pergola structure.
SOLEIL DESIGNER PANELS
Soleil panels are more decorative than they are functional. These decorative designer panels are stunningly beautiful, different, and will always be a conversation starter. Let’s just say that Soleil design panels will be one of, if not THE, highlight of your entire patio cover.
Soleil designer panels come in the following sizes:
-
4 x 8
-
5 x 10
-
3 x 5
COLORS
The reason we only carry 4 colors is because the powder coating paint is a very rigorous process that must ensure the ability to withstand over 3000 hours of salt spray before any paint even begins to come off. This means we have to limit the color options to only a maximum of 4 color options. Nevertheless, at an additional fee, we can powder coat the paint to match any specific color.
